Before the canyon path starts, examine the sandy hill to your left. Halfway there you should come across this flower at the base of a lone pillar. Before passing under it, search the left side. You should find this flower at the base of the arch. On the far side of the arch, hang a right. In a dune depression not too far from the arch is a purple flower. Walk straight under the arch and into the open desert. This flower is at nearly the center of the desert at the very tip of a buried column.
Follow the perimeter of the level around clockwise after passing under the arch. This blossom is on a hill with a boulder along the edge of the level over the valley of ruins leading to the Crossroads of Passing entrance. A small sandy recess here holds this bloom.
There are six different colors, and finding five flowers of one particular hue will unlock special tattoo dyes. Unfortunately, unlike the keys and the gnomes, the number of flowers in each region does not appear on the world map so keep track!
From the Demon Door, head left up the hill. On the right just before the post is the green flower. Hop over, and check behind the statue for the purple flower. Some of them are a bit vague but should give you an idea of where to look: 1. AURORA if your coming down the path from shifting sands look straight ahead and vault the little wall, its easy to miss. SHIFTING SANDS on the right side next to the cliff face on your way to the fort if you built it, its down the narrow path leading to the small fort area or on your way into the main desert if you didn't build the fort.
