While little Easter Eggs like these don't add significant value to the experience, they're still fun to try to discover, especially for veteran players that went in expecting something completely different from Nuketown and its Easter Eggs.
All that being said, it's still disappointing that many Black Ops 3 players won't be able to enjoy either one of the Nuketown Easter Eggs right now. As some may recall, Nuketown was actually a pre-order bonus for the game, and while it will probably be released as a standalone map later on, there's no release window yet.
While those that didn't pre-order will have to wait a little longer to try out the Nuketown Easter Eggs, there's still plenty of other secrets to discover in the main game, including Dead Ops Arcade 2 and a complex Easter Egg to complete in Shadows of Evil.
